This outfit is fun for any casual night out or if you wanna be festive for Halloween without getting all dressed up in a costume. We shot this look before we went out last Friday evening. It was Friday the 13th, so I thought it was appropriate.

We went to a Memphis project called MEMFix. It's where they rethink vacant neighborhoods in town and try to encourage businesses to buy or lease in the area by having popups with vendors like food trucks, handmade goods, non-profits, and music. We went to check it out since it was in Midtown but to also visit my cousin, Rachel, of RM Petit Cakes. If you are not local you are missing out! She makes the most delicious sweet specialty treats like macaroons, petit fours, cookies, and cake pops. She also does custom cakes for weddings and other events. You can find her here for orders and stay up to date on when she is doing popups and farmers markets around town. We got a chocolate macaroon for me and a lemon one for Randall. Yum!! It was a good set up for the event but not a lot of traffic so most of the vendors had packed up before we got there.

After that, we headed over to another popup downtown at the same location where I had mine. It's a really neat concept called Monster Market. They curate cool creepy items from different makers and sell it all in one place. So you can find spooky prints, pins, stickers, tees, jewelry, and decor.

We ended the night at Ghost River Brewery. We had never been and we were already downtown so we thought it was a great time. They make and sell beers locally but also allow you to hang out at their awesome space and sip beers. I really like amber ales, so I got their Riverbank Red. The weather was extremely nice so we hung out on the patio and enjoyed our beers and a band.

This outfit kinda made me feel like Sandy from Grease. I think it was the combo of a black jacket, skinny pants, red shoes, and red lips. I felt good. I absolutely love these jeans. They have the perfect amount of stretch to feel comfortable. I prefer dark denim. They are a little long on me since I am only 5'2, but I just folded a big cuff at the bottom.

October is flying by! I'm still trying to get all of my Halloween fix and fun checked off my list. We still haven't gotten a pumpkin yet. I would like to get some kind of haunted tour or house in before the month is over. I also haven't watched any scary movies yet. I am a chicken so I have to wait until Randall and I can agree on one to watch together. I did watch Hocus Pocus which is definitely a must!

We will be ending the month with the Latino Memphis Day of the Dead Fiesta on Friday the 27th. It is a fun event and supports Latino Memphis! My dad and mom are coming in town from TX to party with us! My sister and her boyfriend are going too! We're so excited! If you are in Memphis and looking for an awesome party you should check it out! I'm also popping up downtown on 9 N Main at Dorothy Art's Popup Saturday 10/28 from 12-6. It will be lots of fun! Please come by and say hi! Meet Mucho IRL.

Love. Mucho Mucho.
